Property Accountant

Property Accountants are responsible for performing financial and administrative duties to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial reporting.

This role will contribute to the Accounting team by:

  • Preparing and analyzing the financial statements, general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and budgets, on both a monthly and annual basis.
  • Assisting in managing the timeliness of Financial Statements, Bank Reconciliations, and all other monthly reporting/closing procedures.
  • Reconciling, verifying, and validating all entries and postings to balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Preparing monthly bank account reconciliations for assigned portfolio.
  • Reviewing and reconciling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintain a schedule of all balance sheet accounts.
  • Reviewing budget comparison for accuracy and performing re‐class and accruals as needed.
  • Assisting with monthly budget variance analysis.
  • Supporting and assisting team members

Maintenance Technicians

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing maintenance requests by diagnosing problems and making repairs at the impacted unit(s) and/or building.

This role will contribute to the Operations team by:

  • Completing: basic appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, roofs and gutters, wallpaper, patching, and painting.
  • Handling pest control as needed.
  • Completing apartment turnover checklist.
  • Adhering to turnover schedules and communicating to Supervisor any problems associated with the turnover schedule.
  • Servicing buildings in a quick and efficient fashion that minimizes tenant disturbance and increases operational efficiencies

Area Manager

Concord Property Management is looking for an Area Manager responsible for a portfolio of multifamily properties in the greater Los Angeles market.

This role will contribute to the Operations team by:

  • Inspecting property vacancies and overseeing vacancy turn process.
  • Posting all notices, collecting all rents, handling move-ins and move-outs, as well as all general tenant issues.
  • Troubleshooting resident complaints and providing solutions.
  • Compiling reporting around work orders, vacancies, tenant escalations, delinquency and other metrics as needed.
  • Communicating and coordinating with third-party vendors around maintenance issues. 
  • Visiting properties on a daily basis to audit storage room inventory, checking for safety concerns, and ensuring cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Overseeing the preparation for property inspection (SCEP, Housing, Bank, etc.) and communicating with all necessary parties to complete required work.
